Tsukematsukeru is the second single of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's first album, Pamyu Pamyu Revolution, and the lyrics are about a girl putting on false eyelashes. The song most likely comes from Kyary's high school memories and how fascinated she was by bizarre fashion items, which included fake eyelashes. It was first introduced in Pamyu Pamyu Revolution and returned in KPP Best.
Background and release[]
Tsukematsukeru was first released in December 2011 as a 1-song single, similar to Pon Pon Pon and Jelly. Nearly one month later, a three-song re-release was digitally added to Kyary's library on Apple Music, including a new song called Kyary ANAN, which would later make an reappearance on Pamyu Pamyu Revolution, as well as a remixed extended mix of Cherry Bonbon, the second track from Moshi Moshi Harajuku. The 3-song version was incorrectly labeled as an EP, when the correct term for a three-track single would be a maxi-single.
In July 2013, more than a year later, a vinyl record was released as the second in a three-part series of vinyl single releases, along with Pon Pon Pon and Ninja Re Bang Bang.[1] The B-Side was an extended remix of Minna No Uta, another track from Pamyu Pamyu Revolution.
